Tourist card validity period
You choose the validity period when you purchase the tourist card online. You can choose between 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days of validity. The pass does not operate in hourly increments, but by consecutive calendar days. To put it more clearly, if you opt for the shortest validity period, 1 day, and activate the card on your first visit at 10 a.m., it will expire at midnight.
You have two years from the date of purchase to start using your tourist card. So you can buy it well in advance of your trip.
Where can I pick up my Stockholm city pass?
Once you’ve selected your tour dates, you’ll receive your tickets by e-mail. You’ll need to present your tourist card on your phone at the entrance to the attractions you wish to visit. You can also print it out, but this is not required.
Some activities and tours require advance booking, so be sure to consult the deposit form before your visit. You’ll receive it by email, along with your purchase confirmation, just after you buy your GO City Stockholm All Inclusive Pass.
Do I need a Stockholm city pass?
There’s only one option: the Stockholm Go City All Inclusive pass. As the name suggests, this is an “all-inclusive” offer with access to a wide range of attractions. Perfect for a complete tour of the city, but certainly less suitable if you’re not staying long. Here are two different profiles to help you make your choice:
For a complete tour?
Stockholm All Inclusive Pass
For those who want to discover the city in its entirety, we strongly advise you to buy the tourist city card. This will save you money on admission to museums and other city attractions . What’s more, our offer is suitable for all types of stay, from 1 to 5 days. However, it’s advisable not to take too short a time for the city pass if you want to have time to do all the city’s must-see activities.
A must-have tourist card for first-time visitors! Recommended duration: 3 days.
Short stay?
Tickets by activity
For those who only stay a short time , or who don’t enjoy sightseeing, there’s no need to choose the Stockholm city pass. You won’t be able to do enough sightseeing to make it worth your while.
In this case, I’d recommend booking the few visits you want to make and buying single tickets in advance. I particularly recommend booking a cruise in the city’s archipelago. This is the must-do activity during a stay in the Swedish capital.
